Job Summary:
In this role, you will lead a team of talented process chemists who are defining, developing, and demonstrating scalable synthetic routes to novel materials and intermediates thereof. The role holder will be expected to provide managerial oversight and support of their team members while also liaising with R&D Program leaders to ensure that resources are focused on the right problems at the right time. Reporting to the head of Materials Process Chemistry, you will also serve as a member of the OLED Chemistry Extended Leadership Team where you will help to support the wider objectives of the OLED Chemistry business unit. Key Responsibilities:

• Provide technical advice, support and leadership to team members in all areas of Process Chemistry.

• Provide mentorship, coaching, and support for team members.

• Set team objectives and key results aligned with business / organizational objectives.

• Conduct regular reviews with team members.

• Ensure team members remain compliant with all SOPs and the regulatory requirements of their roles.

• Foster a collaborative environment across organizational and geographical boundaries.

• Empower team members to drive the science and champion change.

• Role model professional leadership behaviors always.

Required Qualifications:

• PhD in organic chemistry, with 5+ years of Process Chemistry experience in an industrial setting or Masters in organic chemistry, with 10+ years of Process Chemistry experience in an industrial setting.

• Proven track record of leading high performance teams (4+ team members) of chemists.
